Job Type Full Time Summary of Position The District Sales position is the base level sales person for BFOT. This role will generate and capture information from new sales opportunities for BlackFox Oil Tools(BFOT). It is paramount to maintain good communication with both the Operations team and the customers. This communication should produce detailed information to BFOT staff on the future completion plans for the customer, their current vendors(if not us), and thru-tubing related data that could benefit us in knowing. The core goals should be to build customer relationships, maintain those relationships, and gather the most efficient data with respect to competitor initiatives. Roles and Responsibilities- Communicate data specific to your three endeavors: customer onboarding, maintaining customers, competition research
- Continuously network for new customers
- Maintain consistent communication between operations and customers
- Deliver weekly reports detailing the content of communications, visits, and happenings
- Complete all necessary training required for both BFOT and customer location visits
- Visit BFOT location safety meetings to keep apprised of operations and maintain a modicum of operational knowledge
- Create new opportunities for BFOT by consistently inquiring about issues customers have with any product line not limited to thru-tubing
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- 4 or more years(s) working in sales preferred
- 2 or more year(s) working in thru-tubing sales preferred
- Skilled at maintaining positive working relationships with employees and customers
- Proficiency with computer software to include but not limited to MS Office products, Telegram, Google Suite
- Knowledgeable in general safety practices
- Must have a safe driving record and be willing to submit to and able to pass a pre-employment drug test, MVR check and criminal background check.

Manufacturing Admin Assistant
Full Job Description
Job Type Full Time Summary of Position The Manufacturing Admin Assistant works with the other BlackFox administrative staff but specifically for the manufacturing product line. This role is responsible for maintaining the financial and administrative protocols of the manufacturing product line. The positional duties revolve around the segments of data collection, healthcare plan administration, payroll, filing of various types of corporate documentation, organizing manufacturing documentation, and other personnel related duties. The aforementioned duties are separated and assigned by the administrative manager according to their own performance metrics. Roles and Responsibilities- Process, maintain, and submit customer invoices per system guidelines within required deadlines
- Merge, scan, and upload all appropriate documentation to company databases
- Assist with managing accounts payables from vendors
- Maintain and record monthly corporate expenses
- Assist in maintaining employee timesheets
- Assist in accounting and financial reporting
- Set up and maintain vendors
- Maintain and update supplier info as needed (name, address, mergers, etc.)
- Issue purchase orders and process vendor invoices for payment
- Help in organizing the monthly revenue report for Operations to note discrepancies in pay for both vendors and customers alike
- Maintain backup of information from customers and vendors to the specifications
- Comply with all BFOT corporate policies and procedures

Manufacturing Design Engineer
Full Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities The Design Engineer will aid in the development and testing of thru-tubing service line tools. The position will report to the Engineering Manager and be located at our Engineering and Manufacturing facility in Conroe Texas. This position will also aid in the task management for engineering projects that either design new tools and systems for downhole applications or sustain currently implemented thru-tubing solutions. The products will be designed for, but not limited to the following thru-tubing areas, completions, fishing, milling, workover, drilling, and related thru-tubing surface equipment. Responsible for executing the entire product life cycle from concept to commercialization. The Engineer’s responsibility will be conceptualizing ideas, technically evaluating feasible concepts (component/feature stress analysis and operating limitations) to meet operational requirements, producing engineering CAD models and drawings, testing prototypes, supporting machinists and BFOT operations alike, troubleshooting, and iterating based on field trial feedback. The aforementioned continues through commercialization of products or services. The engineer will be expected to lead their project(s) during the entire lifecycle which could last from a few months to several years. Specific Responsibilities- Work with manufacturing team to develop SOPs for component implementation
- Aid in the implementation of ISO 9001/API standards in the design phase
- Conduct mathematical modeling to determine if proposed designs are technically feasible
- Do effective cost based analysis for both projects and manufacturing of said projects
- Supporting and participating in the design, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototypes
- Work with the operations team and the technical manager to develop goals for both new intellectual property and sustaining engineering
- Work with technical manager to create assembly documentation for BFOT components
- Aid in the creation of provisional patents for intellectual property
- Aid in the prototyping and testing of prototypes
- Conduct technical reviews for product development
- Aid in the finding of vendors specific to projects when necessary
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelors in Engineering required, Mechanical preferred
- Solidworks design training
- PDM software training
- Conducting FEA, project management, and material analysis
- Minimum of 5 years related experience in oilfield/industrial environment preferred
- Familiar with API specifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in thru-tubing service product design
- Minimum 5 years in working in technical innovation roles such as R&D, design engineering, etc
- Materials engineering expertise preferred, with an understanding in downhole tool operational principles
- PDM software utilization
- Proficiency in MS Suite, SolidWorks, Engineering Drawings, PDM software, Telegram, and other such web based and PWAs
- Strong knowledge of engineering design principles, component failure analyzation, and communication of the aforementioned technical concepts
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Must possess flexibility and the capacity to handle a wide range of situations and personalities
- Must be able to travel as the need arises
- Pass the required physical examination and drug screen as well as a Motor Vehicle Record check
- Clean driving record, verified by MVA report
- Occasionally requires long and irregular hours and changes in location of work assignments

Downhole Tool Shop Technician

Job Type Full Time Summary of Position The Downhole Tool (DHT) Shop Technician is responsible for supporting the thru-tubing product line. Utilizing BlackFox Oil Tools (BFOT) tools and services, the DHT Shop Technician will work directly with their respective coordinator and shop supervisorial staff to service all BFOT product line equipment. All duties will be performed in compliance with established industry standards, customer standard operating procedures, and according to BFOT company practices. Roles and Responsibilities- Provide routine maintenance on BFOT tools and supporting equipment to the most current BFOT policies
- Inspect and maintain equipment, check operating conditions, log necessary repairs, and log completed repairs
- Perform maintenance jobs as required, including preventative maintenance
- May assist in mechanical operations as necessary for BFOT equipment
- Rebuild broken equipment and replace parts in accordance with specified equipment documentation
- Maintain required and related records as necessary
- Track and record equipment test results
- Complete work orders, list materials issued and used, and submit paperwork with appropriate personnel
- May perform basic inventory and basic preparation of tools and equipment
- Deliver and pick up equipment from vendors or job sites
- Pressure wash equipment with a high-pressure washer
- Paints (or removes paint from) equipment
- Load and unload freight

Downhole Tool Specialist
Full Job Description
Job Type Full Time Summary of Position The Downhole Tool (DHT) Specialist is responsible for performing all aspects of thru-tubing operations during new well construction, workovers in previously completed wells, and interventions during the other two phases. Utilizing BFOT tools and services, the DHT supervisor will work directly with their respective coordinator and the onsite customer representative to provide solutions and direction during wellbore completion or remediation operations. All duties will be performed in compliance with established industry standards, customer standard operating procedures, and according to BFOT company practices. Roles and Responsibilities- Conduct safety meetings with all onsite personnel at the beginning of each shift, and if there is a significant change necessitating a duty correction to fully establish the limitations and the recommended operating protocol for BFOT tools
- Supervise all work associated with thru-tubing operations
- Manage the BFOT assets on location, ensuring a low environmental footprint is maintained
- Directs onsite service company personnel on the proper operating of thru tubing tools downhole
- Develop and plan work activities with the BFOT DHT coordinator to communicate to the onsite customer representatives ensuring the correct equipment is ordered, used, serviced, and maintained according to company procedures
- Ability to meet with BFOT management and customer representatives concerning both well servicing and operational safety concerns
- Provide daily contact with and/or reporting to customers and BFOT district regarding costs involved, equipment used, and operational status updates
- Conducts safety meetings with rig crew ensuring work is done properly and safely
- Proficient in mill outs, cleanouts, common intervention operations, tool functionality, BHA component breakdown, and various appropriate software technology (Excel, telegram, etc.)
- Proficient in downhole hydraulics and other such associated thru-tubing math
- Ability to excel in high-stress environments, while maintaining service integrity or communicate weakness in operational skill to BFOT management when necessary
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 3 or more years of coiled tubing experience required
- 3 or more years of workover rig operator experience required
- Well control certification
- Supervisory skills and experience
- Skilled at maintaining a positive working relationship with employees and customers
- Extensive knowledge of all safety practices and measures in the rig and coiled tubing operations
